What calculators are available for Guatemala?
Start with net salary, remittances, quetzales to dollars and labor settlement. There are also IGSS, income tax, VAT, minimum wage, Bono 14, aguinaldo, vacation pay, final pay, payroll, mortgages and imports. All of them are free and the result stays on the page.
Where can I calculate my net salary in Guatemala?
Use the Guatemala net salary calculator: enter gross pay to see IGSS and income-tax deductions, plus the incentive bonus when it applies. Business-regime income tax lives on the ISR Guatemala calculator.
What is the difference between settlement and finiquito?
The Guatemala labor settlement calculator estimates the total when the job ends (severance, benefits and notice, depending on the case). Finiquito covers what is owed on a resignation. The resignation vs dismissal page compares both scenarios.
How do I calculate a worked holiday, seventh-day pay, or an IGSS sickness subsidy?
A worked asueto keeps the holiday pay and counts the hours worked as overtime (+50%, arts. 128 and 121): 2.5x the daily wage for a full daytime shift, not a flat double. The seventh day is the weekly average (arts. 126-129). The IGSS temporary-disability subsidy is 2/3 of the daily wage, capped at Q150 per day (Acuerdo 468 art. 54). All three have their own calculator on this hub.
Are these official IGSS or SAT figures?
No. They are educational estimates. The official amount depends on your history, your tax regime and the relevant institution. Confirm with your employer, an accountant, IGSS or SAT.
Are there worked examples besides the calculators?
Yes. Below the cards there are payroll, aguinaldo, income-tax and IGSS notes that use the same engine. Start with net salary or settlement, then open the guide if you want the breakdown.
