What is the difference between settlement, prima and cesantías?
Settlement estimates the close when the job ends. Prima de servicios covers the semester (June and December). Cesantías accrue over the year and go to the fund. Each tool shows only its line item.
Are these official DIAN or Ministry of Labor figures?
No. They are educational estimates. The official amount depends on your contract, your IBC and the institution. Confirm with your employer, an accountant, DIAN or the Ministry of Labor.
Are there worked examples besides the calculators?
Yes. Below the cards there are payroll, prima, cesantías and withholding notes that use the same engine. Start with net salary or settlement, then open the guide if you want the breakdown.
