How much is the family allowance?
Law 25129 pays 10% of the vital minimum wage to private-regime workers with a minor child (or student) whose pay is not set by collective bargaining.
With RMV S/ 1,130 (still in force in 2026, BCRP):
- Monthly allowance: S/ 113
- Extra CTS, full semester: S/ 56.50
- Extra legal bonus + 9%: S/ 123.17
Formula
Allowance = 10% × RMV
CTS extra (6 months) = allowance ÷ 2
Bonus extra = allowance × 1.09 (EsSalud)
The RMV moved to S/ 1,130 on 1 January 2025 (S.D. 006-2024-TR). BCRP still publishes 1,130 in 2026.
